Isang pulubi sa kalsada 

naghihintay , abutan ng barya

wala na siyang pamilya

na tutulong sa kaniya.

Gusto ko siyang tulungan

Pero sa paanong paraan 

Wala'kahit konting kayamanan

Bigyan mo lang kahit konting hapunan.

Butas butas na damit

Parang basahan pinag kabit kabit 

namamalimos sa gitna ng init

Kanyang  balat unti-unting napupunit.

Pagmasdan ang kanyangb katandaan

Dapat nating kaawaan

hakakatakot maranasan

araw-araw pinagmamasdan.

The flood from the over flowing rivers

Come rushing down from he field sand streets

Destroying the crop sand life of man indeed

Sending tears and knees.

The flood that comes from mountain creeks

Signals the want on destraction of forest trees

Exposing to man utter reglect

Inpresuing immediate environment.

The flood that brings destraction to life

Must serve as are minder to us all

Let's basten our effort sand unit in all blast

To save mother earth and forest denuded areas.

Ako'y nagmahal na tila'y nagdusa

Puso ko'y wasak na wasak na.

Pag-ibig nga naman bakit ganito pa?

Tulungan mo ako at ako'y babangon pa.

Ako'y naglalakbay sa dilim,

upang hanapin ang kaligayahan.

Nakita ko ang isang bituin,

nangangarap sabay nagniningning. 

Napasampal ako sa aking pisngi.

Oh! Puso kong litong-lito.

Ang katangahan ko'y

bumabalik muli.

At sa balak niyang pagbabalik?

Huwag na at ako'y papaasahin niya ulit.

Maging maligaya na at kalimutan,

ang mga pangyayari.

I always get down to pray

Then sound asleep I stay in bed

Tell I get up to thank God for this new day

Soon I get out of the house to see
